Cosmic Tsunami! Galaxy Cluster Flyby Triggers Gravitational Disturbance | Video

A new look at the Perseus galaxy cluster with the Chandra X-ray Observatory has revealed a massive wave rippling away from it. It was created when a smaller galaxy cluster flew by causing cooler gas at the center of the Perseus cluster to “form a vast expanding spiral,” according to NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center.
