This Photo: On February 1, 1963, McDonnell Aircraft Corp. spacecraft engineer Robert Graham checks the Mercury Spacecraft #20 instrument panel with astronaut L. Gordon Cooper, Jr. The panel holds the instruments used to monitor spacecraft systems and sequencing as well as the controls necessary to initiate primary sequences manually and the flight control displays.
