Zoom Into Galaxy Deep Within 'The Sea Monster' Constellation | Video

The MUSE instrument on the Europeans Southern Observatory’s (ESO) Very Large Telescope was use to image the Markarian 1018 galaxy.  Astronomers have theorized that the black hole at the center of this galaxy is “no longer being fed enough fuel to make its surroundings shine,” according to ESO. ‘The Sea Monster” is the nickname for the constellation of Cetus.
