Solar Occultations To Be Used For Ozone Layer Check-Up | Video

The Stratospheric Aerosol and Gas Experiment III (Sage-III), which is will be launched to the International Space Station on SpaceX-10 cargo mission , will use solar and lunar occultations to “get a vertical profile of the (ozone layer) gases,” according to SAGE III science manager Marilee Roell.
