Binary Star System’s Observations Reveal ‘Exquisitely-Ordered 3D Geometry’ | Animation

Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) observations of star system LL Pegasi have been used to create a 3D model of binary star system LL Pegasi. A side-by-side comparison of the 3D model and a predicted theoretical model show “match almost perfectly,”, according to the European Southern Observatory.
