Imagery from NASA’s Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory (STEREO) and Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) was used by scientist to find proof of the waves on the Sun. The waves are comparable to those used to predict weather on planets and can hopefully be used to predict solar eruptions in the future.
