Scientists will be treated to a near fly-by of a recently discovered 1300-foot-wide asteroid on Oct. 31st, 2015. They will be using their Deep Space Network’s 34-meter (110-foot) DSS 13 antenna in Goldstone, California. The data will be turned into animated imagery of the space rock.
